The white wines are fresh and vivacious, and excellent aperitifs. They go well with soups and with boiled meats of small farm animals, particularly goose meat. This is a tradition dating back to old times, where this wine was present on the tables of Tuscan Valdichiana farmers during the major farm activities and cultural events of the summer. They are also a perfect choice to go along with appetisers, all cooked vegetables and are also marvellous with all fish dishes.
The red wines go well with roasted white meats, all red meats and roasted game. They are also excellent with seasoned and strong flavoured cheeses.
The vinsanto is an excellent dessert wine.
